Games that have moved at least a point since opening lines were posted Sunday night: Patriots (vs. Jets), Redskins (vs. Titans), Browns (at Jaguars), Bills (vs. Vikings), Chiefs (at Chargers), Cowboys (vs. Giants).
Jets at Patriots Open: New England -8.5, 46Wednesday morning: New England -9.5, 45Notes: MGM Resorts and CG Technology are dealing the Pats at -10 with less expensive vig. There are some 46s still out there for totals
Bengals at Colts Open: Indianapolis -3, 49.5Wednesday morning: Indianapolis -3 (-120), 49Notes: A.J. Green is expected to miss another week for the Bengals. Totals range from 48.5 to 49.5.
Titans at Redskins Open: Washington -4, 46Wednesday morning: Washington -5.5, 46Notes: The Redskins can be found at -4.5 at William Hill, and totals range from 45.5 to 46.5. Titans QB Jake Locker’s status is still uncertain.
Dolphins at Bears Open: Chicago -3 (-120), 49Wednesday morning: Chicago -3 (-120), 49Notes: Miami’s been available at +3.5 for this game.
Browns at Jaguars Open: Cleveland -4, 45Wednesday morning: Cleveland -5, 45Notes: On Tuesday, the SuperBook was dealing Cleveland -5.5, while most books were are -4. Said Salmons, “I think this line will go down a notch by gametime.”
Seahawks at Rams Open: Seattle -6.5, 43Wednesday morning: Seattle -6.5, 43Notes: If you’re interested in the dog here, the Rams are available at +7 flat at William Hill. More shops are dealing 43.5, rather than 43, for the total.
Panthers at Packers Open: Green Bay -7, 49Wednesday morning: Green Bay -7, 49Notes: As straightforward as they come, with the Packers laying a touchdown all across Vegas.
Falcons at Ravens Open: Baltimore -6.5, 49.5Wednesday morning: Baltimore -6.5, 49.5Notes: Plenty of shops are dealing -7 (105) and -7 (even) for this inter-conference affair.
Vikings at BillsOpen: Buffalo -4, 43Wednesday morning: Buffalo -5, 43Notes: This line has been all over the place. At the Westgate, it opened Buffalo -4 on Sunday, was bet up to -4.5 later the same day, down to -3.5 on Monday and back up the ladder to -5 on Tuesday. Most books are dealing 4.5, while The Wynn is at Bills -4 (-120). The most common total is 42.5.
Saints at Lions Open: Detroit -2.5, 50Wednesday morning: Detroit -3 (even), 49Notes: While 2.5s were around early in the week, as of this writing it’s -3 with decreased juice.
Chiefs at Chargers Open: San Diego -5.5, 44.5Wednesday morning: San Diego -4.5, 44.5Notes: The SuperBook was down to 4 on this game on Tuesday (most shops still are), but it wasn’t necessarily K.C. money that drove the move. “There’s a lot of things working against San Diego,” said Salmons. “They’re really beat up on the offensive line; they’re down to their third string center. (OT D.J) Fluker guy has been is playing hurt. And San Diego plays Denver on a Thursday night after this game. Kansas City (is coming) off a bye week. This line is being surpassed just because of all the situational things going into the game."
Giants at Cowboys Open: Dallas -4, 48Wednesday morning: Dallas -6, 48Notes: Dallas was reposted at -5 on Monday morning, after the Giants were shut out in Philly, and has been bet up from there. Said Salmons: “This is one of these games that seemingly will get pushed up in front of the week, and as we get toward game time, will be pushed back to where it should have been….One team looked has good as it could look; one team looked as bad as it could look, and now they’re playing each other."
Cardinals at Raiders Open: Arizona -4, 44Wednesday morning: Arizona -3.5, 44Notes: After opening at 4 at most shops, 3.5 has become the unanimous number
49ers at Broncos Open: Denver -7, 51Wednesday morning: Denver -6.5, 50.5Notes: Salmons and his team made the rather significant move off the key number after watching the 49ers win in St. Louis Monday night. We may see 7 again for this game, but the spread is unlikely to grow beyond that, according to Salmons. “This is a game I think will have tremendous two-way write because the 49ers are such a public team and they always have backing,” he said. “I wouldn’t surprised it if did push back toward 7. … If it does go to 7, there’s a chance the wiseguys will buy back – or even the public will buy back – but the 49ers always have support, so it’s just not a game that will go crazy because there will be dog support, whether it’s the wiseguys or the public.”
Texans at Steelers -3.5, Open: Pittsburgh -3.5, 44.5Wednesday morning: Pittsburgh -3.5, 45Notes: Some Pitt -4s have popped up around Las Vegas for the Week 7 Monday nighter. Now, the spread is 3.5 everywhere, with varying degrees of vig.
