The Fantasy Draft will take place on Friday, Jan. 23, two days before the All-Star Game. The captains will also handpick their teams for the Skills Challenge on Jan. 24, which includes a pool of six rookies. Foligno and Toews will wear a ‘C’ on their jerseys, and their assistants, Drew Doughty, Patrick Kane, Ryan Getzlaf and Rick Nash, will wear ‘A’ on theirs.

Team Foligno, designated as the home team and wearing all black, will be coached by the Los Angeles Kings’ Darryl Sutter. Team Toews will be coached by the Nashville Predators’ Peter Laviolette.
This is the third Fantasy All-Star Draft in the NHL’s history, the first taking place in 2011 and the second in 2012. Each team will select three goaltenders, six defensemen and 12 forward.
This year’s draft will take place at 8 p.m. ET at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, televised on NBCSN.
