6:27 p.m. — Domi deal is done. Three-way trade involving the Hurricanes, Panthers and Blue Jackets
6:17 p.m. — Three hours after the deadline and deals still coming in. Wild trade Victor Rask to the Kraken
4:47 p.m. — Breakdown of the Domi deal. Couple of prospects involved in the deal as well.
4:27 p.m. — Stuck in the trade queue is a deal between the Golden Knights and the Ducks, sending forward Evgenii Dadonov to Anaheim
4:27 p.m. — Full details on the Copp trade to New York
4:11 p.m. — Tampa Bay makes another addition to their forward group, bringing in Riley Nash from Arizona
3:56 p.m. — Goaltender Michael McNiven is headed to the Senators from the Flames
3:47 p.m. — Nick Merkley is going back the other way to the Rangers in the Bittetto deal to the Sharks
3:44 p.m. — Some more details coming in on Anaheim’s return in the Pittsburgh deal for Rakell
3:38 p.m. — Uhhhhh, so there might be 33 trades in the queue? By Sporting News count, we have 24 from today
3:32 p.m. — A three-way deal! So far the only one of the deadline as Florida jumps is as a broker for the Hurricanes trade for Domi
3:26 p.m. — Despite the trade request this season, DeBrusk remains on Boston’s roster. Signed a two-year extension earlier in the day. Looked like a potential sign-and-trade in the works but no trade
3:26 p.m. — Stars with a last-minute addition, getting forward Vladislav Namestnikov from the Stars
3:19 p.m. — Flames add another forward, getting Ryan Carpenter from the Blackhawks for a fifth-round pick
3:12 p.m. — Another deal that went down to the wire, the Blue Jackets shipped off Max Domi to the Hurricanes
3:05 p.m. — Getting in right at the buzzer is the Penguins’ acquisition of Rickard Rakell from the Ducks
3:04 p.m. — One of the most shocking reports of the day, the Coyotes do not trade Phil Kessel, a pending free agent
3:03 p.m. — Oilers grab a forward, acquiring Derick Brassard from the Flyers
3:02 p.m. — P.K. Subban staying put. No suitors for the upcoming free agent. His cap hit ($9 million) likely was an issue for trade partners
2:55 p.m. — Rangers aren’t done yet, as they add forward Tyler Motte from the Canucks for a fourth-round pick
2:47 p.m. — Rangers making a couple moves, acquiring Andrew Copp in a deal with the Jets after sending Andrew Bittetto to the Sharks before
2:45 p.m. — Goalie on the move as Andrew Hammond heads to New Jersey from the Canadiens
2:44 p.m. — Not official yet, but Phil Kessel’s sister Amanda tweets out that she does not believe Phil is getting moved, an interesting decision by Arizona considering he’s a pending free agent
2:24 p.m. — The Jets make another move, bringing in forward Zach Sanford from the Senators for a fifth-round pick
2:15 p.m. — Joe Sakic isn’t done adding to the Avs. After bringing in Lehkonen, Colorado traded for veteran forward Andrew Cogliano
2:09 p.m. — The Capitals get some depth at forward by grabbing Johan Larsson from the Coyotes
2:05 p.m. — Full trade is in for Leddy. Blues get the defenseman and Luke Witkowski for Jake Walman, Oskar Sundqvist and a 2nd-round pick
2:01 p.m. — The Avalanche add some depth on offense by trading for pending RFA Artturi Lehkonen from the Canadiens. Montreal receives prospect Justin Barron and a second-round pick
1:57 p.m. — The Blues enter the trade frenzy, acquiring veteran defenseman Nick Leddy from the Red Wings
1:49 p.m. — Things are really starting to slow down as the 3 p.m. deadline approaches. William Lagesson is a part of the return for the Canadiens in the deal with the Oilers for Kulak
1:48 p.m. — Rakell talks are heating up, with the Bruins, Golden Knights and Rangers all in discussion with the Ducks for the forward
1:45 p.m. — Bruins have added another defenseman, trading for Josh Brown from the Senators. Going back the other way is AHL forward Zach Senyshyn
1:40 p.m. — Cogliano continues to gain interest around the league
12:52 p.m. — The Kings and Predators swapped AHL players Frederic Allard and Brayden Burke
12:37 p.m. — The Rangers get their depth defenseman, adding veteran Justin Braun from the Flyers for a 2023 third-round pick. New York takes on Braun’s full cap hit of $1.8 million
12:31 p.m. — Alex Biega traded to the Predators from the Maple Leafs. Toronto will get future considerations
12:29 p.m. — Defenseman Brett Kulak is going from one Canadian team to another, heading from the Habs to the Oilers
12:23 p.m. — There are a number of notable names that have not been moved yet, but the key word is yet. That includes Andrew Copp, Max Domi, Rickard Rakell and Phil Kessel
One of those players definitely NOT getting moved is Patrick Kane
12:03 p.m. — So far, it’s been quiet in Vancouver today, but there are a few forwards who could be on the move in the next few hours
11:45 a.m. — Chicago is keeping 50% of Fleury’s salary as a part of the deal with the Wild
11:37 a.m. — Kaapo Kakhonen is headed to the Sharks with a fifth-round pick in exchange for Jacob Middleton
11:32 a.m. — Filip Forsberg, a name that was potentially on the trade block, will likely get neither extended or traded today by the Predators
11:14 a.m. — In lieu of the Fleury trade, the Wild are working on a separate deal involving goalie Kaapo Kahkonen
11:10 a.m. — First big trade of the day, Marc-Andre Fleury is in fact on the move, heading to the Minnesota Wild
11:00 a.m. — Max Domi not practicing today with the Blue Jackets. He’s a pending UFA and is expected to be dealt by Columbus by 3 p.m.
10:51 a.m. — Kraken are sending Marcus Johansson back to the Capitals. The forward spent his first seven seasons in the NHL with Washington. Daniel Sprong is headed back the Kraken’s way
10:45 a.m. — The Jets are trading Bryan Little’s contract to the Coyotes. The 34-year-old has not played since Nov. 5 of the 2019-20 season. He has two years left on his contract with an AAV of just over $5.2 million
The rights to Nathan Smith were sent to Arizona has a part of the deal. The forward from Minnesota State University - Mankato finished second this season in points in college hockey
10:15 a.m. — In a surprising move, the Bruins extended Jake DeBrusk for two years. The winger had previously requested a trade from the team in November and has maintained that request so perhaps a sign-and-trade is in the works
10:05 a.m. — The Senators signed goaltender Anton Forsberg to a three-year extension, taking another potential goaltending trade target off the board
9:33 a.m. — John Klingberg, who had reportedly asked for a trade earlier this season, is likely staying with the Stars
8:47 a.m. — One name that has not been mentioned before in trade rumors is John Gibson, but it’s going around today. There have been few goaltenders on the trade block but he could be one of them
8:21 a.m. — Marcus Johansson, a pending free agent on the Kraken, could be traded today. He would be the sixth Kraken player moved this deadline already
7:50 a.m. — Karel Vejmelka is off the trade board, as the Coyotes have given the goaltender a three-year extension
7:48 a.m. — The Flyers are not expected to be active sellers, keeping Travis Konecny and Ivan Provorov. Only deal they are expected to make is to move Justin Braun
7:30 a.m. — Sounds like Andrew Cogliano will be on the move today as the Sharks shop the pending free agent forward
5:35 a.m. — Nathan Beaulieu is headed from the Jets to the Penguins for a conditional seventh-round pick
