“We are very pleased with the surgery and the procedure went extremely well,” said Ron Courson, a UGA senior associate athletic director. “Following his discharge, Nick will start his rehabilitation program and we are optimistic for a full recovery.”

Chubb tore his PCL and two other ligaments in his left knee in a horrifying injury during the first drive of UGA’s game against Tennessee on Oct. 10. He is out for the rest of the season.

Georgia has not given a timetable for Chubb’s return, but the school is hopefully he’ll return for the 2016 season.
